Sales Style
We take your stock turbocharger and modify it for high flow by replacing the compressor wheel and turbine wheel with larger sizes and machining the stock turbo housing.
All OEM parts can be reused.
Installation is possible without reinforcing major engine components.

DME Tuning Torque Characteristics
The S55 engine delivers intense acceleration up to around 4500rpm with DME tuning. However, beyond 4500rpm, acceleration becomes more subdued, feeling like it's coasting to redline.
This occurs because the stock turbo's maximum air intake capacity peaks around 4500rpm. As RPM increases, the air charge efficiency decreases. Since peak power occurs above 6000rpm, acceleration continues but slows due to reduced torque.
Upgrading to a high-flow turbo is recommended to minimize this torque dip and achieve smooth acceleration all the way to high RPMs.

Power Balance
Compared to stock, torque is significantly higher above 3500 rpm, while low-end torque remains around stock levels.
Compared to DME-tuned vehicles, the crossover point is around 4500 rpm.
It provides smooth control from low to high rpm, with notably quicker engine response at high revs.
　
Power upgrades require on-vehicle DME tuning.
Simply upgrading the turbocharger alone is insufficient to achieve adequate power gains.
DME tuning matching the upgraded turbocharger is necessary.
Depending on measurement conditions (ambient temperature, barometric pressure) and tuning specifications, actual measured power without rear tire correction ranges from 620 to 670 horsepower.

This is a unique specification by LAPTORR and differs from GCG products.
All upgrade work, including machining, assembly, and balance adjustment, is performed by GCG JAPAN.
