The mid-pipe is designed to equalize the length of the exhaust unit behind the turbine.

Designed with tuning in mind.
The S55 turbo engine has a rough sound quality, but to achieve a high-quality, clear exhaust note from mid to high RPM, improvements were made repeatedly from the initial development stage.
