Dry Carbon Engine Hood and Trunk Lid for the E46-M3

We are developing dry-carbon engine hoods and trunk lids for the E46-M3.
We've opted for dry carbon to keep the weight down.
In terms of weight reduction, there are various benefits, chief among them being improved accelerator pedal response—a key part of the S54/NA engine’s appeal—as well as increased performance limits during braking and cornering.
Safety is also a key factor, so we’ve installed a framework on the back to ensure sufficient structural strength.

In addition to the standard design, the engine hood lineup is scheduled to include a ducted version.
The trunk lid features the genuine CSL design.
