EXHAUST SYSTEM E600NA Development Begins
We are releasing the exhaust system for the E60 M5, equipped with BMW's pinnacle naturally aspirated V10 engine.
With turbo engines becoming standard at BMW, we began development recognizing that the appeal of a naturally aspirated engine sound cannot be fully expressed without a V10 engine.
Equipped with flaps to ensure a comfortable mode, we developed it with a design focused entirely on performance in sport mode.
While the exhaust manifold is not part of this development, we will test two patterns: the stock manifold and a manifold without a catalytic converter.
The layout features a mid-pipe, rear silencer, and four 90mm finishers.
