DEVELOPMENT

We created a prototype using FRP to check the fit and functionality. While the main body of the final product is planned to be made of carbon fiber using the infusion molding process, we are also considering using FRP for the base and sides of the front spoiler. After actually installing it and testing various maintenance procedures, we decided to modify the mounting method to improve the mechanic’s workflow. Since the number of mounting points will increase to ensure strength, we are devising ways to make the process as simple as possible.Since the testing phase is complete, we will temporarily remove the aero parts, paint them, and reinstall them on the body. Although the materials differ since this is a prototype, the shape is identical to the final product, so you can get a clear idea of what it will look like. We will be exhibiting it at ASSIST Kyoto next weekend.　　　Regarding the images: The images show the base, extension, under, and side components all installed. For everyday use, we recommend installing only the base and side components. The front-tip extension and under components are designed for motorsports applications requiring downforce.
