This device changes the pressure inside the engine crankcase from positive to negative.
The negative pressure reduces the pushback force on the pistons caused by pressure and minimizes air resistance, allowing them to move more freely.
To prevent the negative pressure from exceeding the specified limit, the α system’s valve control draws in atmospheric air from the air filter to regulate the pressure .
