This device changes the pressure inside the engine crankcase from positive to negative.
The negative pressure reduces the pushback force on the pistons caused by pressure and minimizes air resistance, making it easier for them to move.
To prevent the negative pressure from exceeding the specified limit, the α system uses valve control to draw in atmospheric air from the air filter .
