Effect
Driving stability and maneuverability
Pillow mounts are effective when the suspension and brake systems are tuned for high performance.
As cornering and braking forces increase, the load on the mounts increases, causing the tires to move more off their original trajectory, which in the case of rubber mounts causes delayed steering response and driving instability, whereas pillow mounts drastically reduce these problems.
Durability and Corrosion Resistance
Large diameter Minebea bearings are used to minimize deterioration as much as possible.
The mount housing is made of highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
