Performance!　　
Due to the nature of the B58 engine, while torque is exceptionally high in the 2,000–4,000 rpm range, it tends to drop significantly as the engine speed increases, primarily due to the turbocharger’s capacity.
The LAPTORR exhaust system is designed as a performance muffler to promote turbine rotation through low friction, delivering outstanding performance at high RPMs.
We have also taken measures to control exhaust pressure, so you won’t notice any loss of torque in the low- to mid-range.
　
Sound quality is a top priority!　　
In Sport+ mode, the crisp, pleasant exhaust note at high RPMs is incredibly racy!
In Comfort Mode, the simple design helps minimize internal noise.
　
Volume!　　
In Sport+ mode, the volume is set to provide the optimal sound quality and volume for a sporty driving experience when the accelerator is fully depressed. Because the Supra’s cabin is well-insulated, the volume may seem a bit loud when heard from outside.
Since the exhaust bubbling sound produced by devices like bootmod3 is more than loud enough, you have a wide range of adjustment options, making it easier to tailor the volume and sound quality to your preferences.
　
In Comfort Mode, when driving at a constant speed without accelerating, the B58 engine’s characteristics ensure that the noise level inside the cabin is low enough to allow for comfortable conversation.
