WE STARTED DEVELOPMENT OF AERO PARTS FOR G82 M4. FIRST, WE USED A 3D SCANNER TO MEASURE THE BODY SHAPE IN ORDER TO DESIGN THE AERO PARTS DIGITALLY. ROUGH SKETCHES OF THE FRONT SPOILER HAVE BEEN MADE AND WE WILL CREATE A MODERN STYLE THAT MATCHES THE DESIGN OF THE BMW BUMPER. BY THE TIME THE PRODUCT IS LAUNCHED, THE IMAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE IN 3D DATA. THE UNDERPANEL WILL BE SHAPED FOR DOWNFORCE FOR MOTORSPORTS.

THE PROTO MODEL IS NOW COMPLETE. THE STYLE IS LARGELY COMPLETE, BUT WE WILL START PRODUCTION ONCE THE DETAILS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. THIS PRODUCT WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY IN WET CARBON. IT CONSISTS OF TWO SECTIONS, UPPER AND LOWER. THE UPPER SECTION REPLACES THE FACTORY REAR BUMPER COVER. THE LOWER SECTION IS SUSPENDED AND THE FRONT END EXTENDS TO THE CANISTER COVER FOR DOWNFORCE, AND THE SIDE PANELS GO AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUMPER TO BALANCE THE VOLUME OF THE GT WING. SCHEDULED TO BE AVAILABLE FROM JANUARY TO FEBRUARY 2023!

WE HAVE MADE A DRY CARBON ENGINE HOOD PROTOTYPE FOR E46-M3. IT WEIGHS 4.7KG AND HAS A FRAME TO ENSURE SUFFICIENT STRENGTH. THE CENTER DUCT IS ARRANGED TO EXHAUST HOT AIR THAT HAS PASSED THROUGH THE RADIATOR, AND THE SIDE GRILLES EXHAUST HOT AIR FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FOR COOLING. THE DUCT SHAPE RAISED FROM THE SURFACE OF THE ENGINE HOOD GENERATES AN OVERFLOW AND IMPROVES THE EXHAUST EFFECT.

We are developing engine hood and trunk lid for E46-M3 in dry carbon. The dry carbon is designed to be lightweight. Lightweighting provides various benefits, such as improving braking and cornering limit performance, starting with improved accelerator pedal response, which is the joy of the S54/NA engine. Safety is also an important factor, and a framework is provided on the back side to provide sufficient strength performance. The engine hood will be available in stock form as well as in a ducted version. The trunk lid is in the stock CSL shape. WE HAVE MADE A PROTOTYPE OF AN EXHAUST FOR THE E46-M3 THAT IS BEING REDEVELOPED STARTING IN 2021. WE ARE PLANNING TO LAUNCH IT THIS SUMMER OR FALL, AND WILL SPEND A LOT OF TIME RUNNING TESTS STARTING IN MAY. AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED, THE LAYOUT HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANTLY CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS MODEL. THE FRONT PIPE IS NOW CATALYST-LESS, AND THE LINE OF THE FRONT PIPE IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE FACTORY MODEL. THE FINISHER COMES OUT OF THE LEFT END OF THE DIFFUSER AS A SINGLE UNIT. WE HAVE STARTED THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE E46-M3. WE HAVE A LOT OF DATA ON THE E46-M3, SO THE DEVELOPMENT SPEED WILL BE FASTER THAN THE NEW MODEL. WE HAVE A LOT OF DATA ON THE E46-M3, SO THE DEVELOPMENT SPEED WILL BE FASTER THAN WITH THE NEW MODEL. WHAT IS THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT? THE DRY CARBON ENGINE HOOD AND TRUNK LID DESIGN ARE READY AND PROTOTYPES ARE BEING BUILT TO REDUCE WEIGHT, ENGINE COMPARTMENT COOLING, AND AERODYNAMICS. EXHAUST THE PREVIOUS MODEL HAD A STOCK CATALYST FROM BEHIND AND A 4-5-6 FRONT PIPE. THE MODEL UNDER DEVELOPMENT WILL BE THE PRODUCT FROM BEHIND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. THE LAYOUT HAS BEEN CHANGED DRASTICALLY TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE. WITH THE LAYOUT CHANGE, IT MAY BE SET WITH THE REAR DIFFUSER THAT IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT.
